Feather Headdress Fancy

I have always been fascinated by these feather head dresses as wall art.

  I found this super DIY post on Design Sponge.

However, I have been looking for a way to "DIY" this fanciful thing myself.  Here is what I came up with: 

Go to every Hobby Lobby you can get to and buy every pack of these, you can find!

Get your hot glue gun ready.

Find a shallow wooden bowl like this one - 

and begin gluing the feather trim in a circle from the outside in.

When you are 20 hot glue gun burns and $200 worth of feather trim packs "in".......you will have this:

I am pretty proud of it but next time, I will buy one!

Words Of Wisdom Wednesday 6/20/12

As you may have noticed (if you are local), we are getting a new sign at Interior's Etc.

While discussing wether or not to put vinyl on the front door, Jean found this:

This last one, is just a personal thing! I am going deep sea fishing with my dad for the next several days!! No computer, no phone, no shoes (but I will wear a shirt - I am with my dad) and my soul will be serviced!! Back to blogging and real life next week!! Until then - "LIVE with what YOU LOVE!!!"
